Sarah + Ben's Engagement

My dear friends Sarah and Ben were getting married and they needed photos for their wedding invitations. I was honoured that they choose me to capture the images they wanted to share with their friends and family inviting them to the most important days of their life.

Sarah and Ben are both Sutherland shire locals, so it was only right we choose the area to do this shoot. The weather was looking average when we arrived, but the heavens opened and it was a cracker of an afternoon. The light, was a photographers dream. It was a spot that Sarah suggested, and I've since passed it on to others. It was perfect.

Photographing these two was a breeze. They just had so much fun. They were stoked with the results and I was so proud when they showed me the invitation. I think it's a really cool idea, to use images as part of your wedding invitations! Since then, I always recommend it if couples are unsure if they want an engagement shoot. I always use Sarah and Ben as an example, because their invitation encapsulates them as a couple rather than just being a text on a page inviting you to a party.
